Every Day
Hello Families!! Every day please pack the following items:
- 2 Snacks
- 1 Lunch
- 1 Refillable Water Bottle
- Sunscreen
- Bug Spray
- Swim Suit (On Swim Days)
- Towel (On Swim Days)
- Extra Clothes in a Zip lock Bag (accidents happen, mud happens)
- Zip lock Bag for wet clothing
- Please label your campers belongings
- We encourage proper shoes for camp- close toed shoes such as tennis shoes** Flip Flops can be dangerous when walking in the woods and slipping in the mud
- PLEASE DRESS APPROPRIATELY FOR THE WEATHER! :) It is cold in the morning!
When does my camper swim?
Micro Mudsock Preschool (Ages 3-5) swims at the Splash Pad Tuesday through Thursday at 9 AM!
Mini Mudsock (Ages 5-6) swims Tuesday 11-11:50 and Thursday 12-12:50
Mega Mudsock (Ages 7-8) swims Monday and Friday 1-1:50
THE Mudsock (ages 9-11) swims Tuesday and Friday 2-2:50
Enrichment (The Olympiad) swims Monday and Wednesday 12-12:50
LIT- swims Thursday from 2-3
Teen Camp swims everyday from 1-2 in the outdoor pool
Special Notes
Mini Mudsock- Ages 5-6 need to bring a white T-shirt for tie-dye by THURSDAY!! Label the inside with the child's name.
THE Mudsock- Ages 9-11 need to bring an empty paper towel or toilet paper roll for a craft by Wednesday.
Drop off and Pick Up
- Drop off starts at 6:30 AM at the back entrance (old Teen Center)
- A Picture ID is REQUIRED by ANYONE who is picking up your child
- If you are using the CURB SIDE drop off, please stay in your vehicle and wait to pull up to the person with the clipboard. It is safer for campers to stay in the vehicle rather than walk around moving vehicles.
- Your child may not be picked up by anyone who is not on the pickup list
- The person who registered the child for camp is the ONLY person who can make pickup changes
- Your child must be picked up by 6 PM or you will be charged $1 per minute for every child and minute after 6 PM
Curb Side Drop Off 7 AM- 9 AM
If you would like to exit your vehicle, please park in the parking lot and walk your child INTO the building.
The counselor outside will only sign in vehicles that pull up. PLEASE DO NOT EXIT YOUR VEHICLE. We are treating curb side drop off like a drive through.

Our theme this week is Dino Days! We will be traveling back in time to the days when dinosaurs roamed the Earth by making dinosaur footprints, fossils, and discovering our best dinosaur roars!

This week in STEM we will be making rock candy and elephant paste. We will also be testing our reaction times and making balloon rockets!

Arts and Crafts- Director Ashlee
Lots of exciting crafts this week for Mudsock! Mini will be making masks out of paper plates and also a jellyfish out of a brown paper lunch sack, Mega will also be making masks out of paper plates and also will be jamming to music when they create harmonicas out of popsicle sticks. THE will be experimenting with baking soda, vinegar, and paint. The result-exploding paint! THE will also be creating Toboggan hats, thanks to the help from one of THE campers. With the Toboggan hat craft, we are asking THE campers to bring a toilet paper roll.

Teen Camp- Director Marsha
Welcome to week 8 of Teen Camp! This weeks field trip is Holiday World!!! We leave at 6:30 a.m. on Wednesday and return that evening around 9:30 p.m.. On Tuesday and Thursday we walk to Holland Park to play sports and swimming occurs everyday at the outdoor pool. Traditional camp activities will be held through-out the week and cooking projects this week are pasta with marinara and Venezuelan hot dogs.
