THIS WEEK AT SPES
SPRING TRAINING OFFERED TO 6th and 7th GRADE BOYS INTERESTED IN PLAYING SPES FOOTBALL
This spring our SPES football coaches (Brady Bell, Andy Naquin, Breannan LeBlanc, Jeff Hemard, Scott Clark and Chip Clark) will be offering a three-day spring football training camp for all 6th and 7th grade boys who are interested in playing 7th/8th grade football for SPES for the 2016-2017 school year. Spring football training will be held May 10th, 11th and 12th from 5 - 7 p.m. each day on the back playground at school. Our coaching staff looks forward to spring training so that they can have an idea of who will be trying out for the team, get an idea of what positions players are most cut out to play and give the coaches the opportunity to get to know their players better as they go through non-contact drills and give players tips on what they can do, on their own, over the summer to be ready for football season when it begins. There is no cost for the camp but players must register for the training so that the athletic department can provide each player with a "St. Pius Spring Football Training Camp" shirt. If your child is interested in participating in the camp please sign up NO LATER THAN May 1st at the following link (http://goo.gl/forms/B3tY5kPQRX) The camp is not a requirement to play football in the fall but we highly recommend signing up since your son will benefit greatly from this experience. If you have any questions about Football Spring Training please contact SPES Athletic Director Joshua Falgout (joshua_falgout@stpiuselementary.org)
