All About Me

I have been teaching middle school science for 10 years. My family just moved outside Granbury from Keller this summer. We bought just under 3.7 acres on a hill and I am loving it! My husband and I have both lived in the DFW metroplex our whole life and so this is a new adventure for us. My family loves being surrounded by trees and nature and having so much room to explore. This will be my first year teaching in Brock ISD. I have been warmly welcomed and can't wait to be a part of the community and family that is so strong here.

Classroom Philosophies

In my classroom I hope to make learning fun! No student is alike and every person has a different style of learning. I try to incorporate something that fits each learning type- we watch it, we read about it, we listen to it, we build it, we dance it, we color it, we sing it, we write it.... we do it all! I love group work. We are all scientists and therefor we explore, ask questions and collaborate. There are no dumb questions and we all respect each other. We do a lot of station work so we are always moving. My classroom is not often quiet- unless Mrs. Graham or another student is talking! We are always respectful to others. I enjoy themed lessons and want students be on their toes and wonder what is next...
