SUPPORTING THE FINE ARTS AT IPSWICH MIDDLE AND HIGH SCHOOLS

IMADA, the Ipswich Music, Art & Drama Association, is a 501(c)3 volunteer charitable organization that partners with the Ipswich, Massachusetts public middle & high schools to support and promote fine arts education and appreciation. Our mission is to advocate for the fine arts as an integral part of secondary education, enhance performing and visual arts education experiences, and help ensure that all students have access to the highest quality arts education.

GINGER EATON RETIREMENT EVENT

On March 7, IMADA hosted a reception in honor of the retirement of beloved Ipswich Middle School art teacher, Ginger Eaton. Ms. Eaton was presented with a bench, made by Scott Jewell, which will reside in the PAC lobby for all to enjoy. Memories and words of gratitude were shared by Dr. Brian Blake, Kathy McMahon, Michael Coelho, Gerry Dolan, Brianna Farina-Stewart, Tom O’Connell, Terrri Murphy, Kathy Butler and Meg Travis.

At this event, a gift of a painting by Robin Silverman was presented by her daughter, Jillian Silverman Sloanhoffer. Remarks were given by Mark Allman, Ginger Eaton, and Ken Sloanhoffer. The painting will be displayed on the left wall as one enters the DPAC lobby
