What is a Coral Reef?

A coral reef is a reef underwater. A coral reef is one of the only unwater ecosystems. Coral reefs are diverse underwater ecosystems held together by calium carbonate structures secreted by corals.

Climate in the Coral Reef

The climate in the coral reef is warm. It is warm water there because most of the coral reefs in the world are found near the equator. The temperature year-round is in the range form 70 to 85 F. If the temperature gets any higher the reef will start to trun or blach out form its pretty color.

What Biotic and Abiotic Fators Live There?

Biotic means that something is living. Some biotic factors that live in this ecosystems are whales, octopi, sharks...etc. Abiotic means nonliving things. Some nonliving things in this ecosystem are like sand, rocks, water...etc.
