- October 12th (Tuesday): 6:30pm, YSD1 Board Meeting
- October 15th (Friday): Half Day for Students for Parent/Teacher Conferences (Dismissal: Elementary/YIS: 10:30am, Middle/High: 11:45am)
- October 18th (Monday): No School for Students, Teacher Workday
- October 25-29th: Red Ribbon Week. Check with your child's school for more information and activities about this national drug abuse prevention campaign.
- October 27th (Wednesday): Early Release Day for Students (Dismissal: Elementary/YIS: 11:45am, Middle/High: 1pm)
- October 31st (Sunday): Happy Halloween
