WEEK OF May 15th

Important information

We have continued our study of pond animals through skype lessons, books, writing activities and our field trip to the fish hatchery.

We would like to thank all the parents that were able to chaperone. What a fun day we had!

Our last field trip will be a walking field trip to Weaver Park. We will be talking about maps and will draw a map of how we will walk to Weaver Park. We plan to leave the school at 10:00 and return around 1:30.

Today we are going to view some of the 5th grade science projects so we look forward to seeing their hard work.

Please mark your calendar for kindergarten graduation. It will be in the gym on Thursday, June 8th at 9:00. We invite you all to come back to our room afterwards for light breakfast refreshments. if you would like to bring something please let Anne Callihan or Kris Dionne know.

We have begun the end of year assessments in both reading and math. We are so proud of the progress the children have made. Please continue to work on sight words, reading, sounds, math story problems, counting by 1's and 10' to 100 and counting on from a given number. Also work on teen numbers.
