Betsy's Bits
June 2, 2019
In Case You Missed It:
We still have some make up tests to give next week, but overall we are looking like we are going into Summer Achievement about where we were last year with Science and Reading. Please make sure to get the score reports filled out and SAP letters ready to send home on Monday. We only have a few days to turn this around, so we need everyone's help!
Tristian McKinney, 7th grade ELA teacher, will not be returning next school year. She will be moving back to Texas to be closer to family.
Andrew Orellana, custodian and bus driver, will be going on the road to drive a truck for the family business. His last day will be Friday.
We have hired some people for openings for next year. I will give more information in the next Bits at the END of JUNE!
Our children thrive on consistency and structure. REMEMBER to plan fun and engaging lessons all the way through Thursday at noon. It cannot be a week of free, outside, or movie time kind of week. They will have LOTS of that over the summer.
