The Accidental Miracle
Today a great miracle has been introduced. Today the renown scientist Dr. Alexander Fleming has released a medicine that can supposedly cure dozens of illnesses. That miracle cure is called Penicillin. Dr. Fleming claims that he he discovered Penicillin back in September of 1928, and now has finally released it to the world. The way the medicine works is it kills bacteria, to do this it interferes with the ability to synthesize the cell. The bacteria will lengthen but wont be able to divide. Eventually the weak cell wall will rupture.

Valentines Day Massacre
February 14, 1929
This past Valentines day came with horrifying news. Five gang members and two civilians were murdered in a parking garage in North side Chicago. Witnesses say they saw two men in long black coats and two police officers in uniform leading the men into the garage at gun point. The bodies were later found that day. No one has been charged with murders of these men yet but the infamous gangster Al Capone is suspected to be involved.
Longest Bridge in the World
March 2, 1929
Earlier this March the San Francisco Toll Bridge opened. It is currently the record holder for the Worlds longest Bridge. The bridge cost $70,000,000.
All Quiet on the Western Front

All Quiet on the Western Front is a novel by Erich Maria Remarque, a German veteran of World War 1. The book describes the German soldiers' extreme physical and mental stress during the war, and the detachment from civilian life felt by many of these soldiers upon returning home from the front.
