The UGA Press, in conjunction with the Georgia Review and English Dept., is hosting a “Careers in Publishing" panel over in Park Hall on Oct. 14 from 12:10-1:10. Panelists include Jenny Gropp, Managing Editor of the Georgia Review, Jason Bennett, UGA Press Marketing; Walter Biggins, UGA Press Senior Editor, and Elizabeth Crowley, UGA Press Editorial Assistant.

Panelists will discuss how they got to where they are now, and will be available to answer any and all questions after the panel. Our goal for the panel is to help UGA students better understand what it means to work in publishing — whether that’s getting their own work published, working at a small press, or moving to work at a large general interest publishing house (Penguin, Random House, Hachette, etc.).

The internship supervisor, Elizabeth Crowley, will be present at the panel if you have any questions.
