19th Amendment August 18, 1920
The 19th Amendment allowed women to vote. It also put a end to there
70 year struggle. the 19th amendment started at the Seneca falls convention. The Seneca falls convention was held July 19-20, 1848. It was also the place where the declaration of Sentiments was signed.
Susan B. Anthony
She founded the AWSA to form the NAWSA. and she donated $10 a month to the $2.50 everyone else donated.
Elizabeth Cady Stanton
She helped Susan B. Anthony make the AWSA and the NAWSA. and she was the one who wrote the declaration of sentiments.
The Mexican American War 1846-1848
The Mexican American War was the first war flying artillery was introduced. Mexico lost over half its territory after the war. there were 13,000 Americans dead and 25,000 Mexicans dead after the war. Diseases killed more then 7 times the amount combat did.The war was started over a border dispute.

Gen. Zachary Taylor was a outstanding general who won a lot of the most important battles in the Mexican American war.

James K. Polk Was the most important man in this war because he was the president of America and giving orders to his generals.
9/11 September 11, 2001
There were 4 hijacked planes each with different targets. 3000 people die that day and 11 unborn kids. It took 100 firemen to put out the fires. It cost 750 million dollars to clear the debris. building 7 was not hit by anything people believe that there already was a bomb in the building.

He was the president at the time which mean he was the one trying to keep america safe of the emerging terrorist threat.
Osama bin Laden
Osama bin Laden was a important person because he was the whole mastermind behind the 9/11 attacks on america and the emerging terrorist threat.

The most important event was the Mexican American war because that is how we got a lot of are land from because with out that land we would not have all the 50 states we have now.
