As of August 14th, the Career Center has resumed operations on the 2nd floor of Clark Howell Hall.
Walk-in hours are regularly held Monday-Friday from 12:00-2:00 PM in the Career Center multipurpose room. Check for your career consultant's satellite hours here.

Arch Ready: Leveraging LinkedIn
Time: 6-7 PM
Location: MLC, Rm. 150
Join us for this interactive session where you will understand how to utilize common features (such as the LinkedIn Newsfeed), understand how to utilize LinkedIn for career research (Reverse career pathing, finding companies, etc.) and understand how to network proactively on LinkedIn (Find Alumni Tool, Advanced Search, tips for messaging contacts, etc.).
LGBTQ: Job Searching
Time: 11:30 AM-12:30 PM
Location: Tate Student Center, Rm. 143
This workshop will help you develop more concrete job search skills and provide a space to discuss the intersections between one’s identity as LGBTQ and the job search process. This session specifically focuses on how to identify LGBTQ-supporting companies and tips for job searching.

Join us for this interactive resume and cover letter presentation where you will leave with the ability to format a professional resume and cover letter, tailor a resume and cover letter to specific employers, industries, and jobs, and learn how to articulate your skills and experiences on a resume and cover letter.
Generation Startup: Film Screening

Location: Tate Student Center, Tate Theater
Join us in the Tate Theatre to view the film, Generation Startup, followed by a short discussion of key takeaways. GENERATION STARTUP takes us to the front lines of entrepreneurship in America, capturing the struggles and triumphs of six recent college graduates who put everything on the line to build startups in Detroit.
