AWARDED: Washington County 4-H Program Achievement Celebration, December 5, 2021
SCHOLARSHIP AWARDS AVAILABLE

Applications will be reviewed and awarded by Selection Committee.
* $20 Scholarship Awards - 4-H Clover Kids (5-7 years old Jan 1, 2021) who submitted a 4-H Clover Kids Record Book
* $100 Scholarship Awards - 4-H Members (8-17 years old Jan 1, 2021) who submitted a 4-H Achievement Application
* $50 Scholarship Awards - 4-H Members (8-17 years old Jan 1, 2021) who did NOT submit a 4-H Achievement Application
* Scholarship amounts will cover State 4-H Camps (state), Big Red Academic Camps (state), School Year Camps (state), and Summer/Spring/Winter 4-H Workshops (county/local/state)
**Upon selection, scholarship recipients who are interested in using their funds for a 4-H camp (state) must utilize a unique code issued to them as a scholarship recipient. Scholarship recipients are NOT to register for a 4-H camp (state) until they have communication from the Washington County 4-H staff regarding their awarded scholarship. There is NO way to reimburse scholarship recipients if they have already registered for 4-H camp (state) without the unique code.
**Scholarship recipients who are interested in using their funds for Summer/Spring/Winter 4-H Workshops must communicate with the Washington County 4-H staff BEFORE registering for the workshop.

Scholarship Opportunity
Attention all 2022 graduating seniors who are planning to continue your education! The Martha and Don Romeo Scholarship application is now OPEN on behalf of the Nebraska Association of Fair Managers. The application and requirements can be found on our website at https://extension.unl.edu/statewide/washington/scholarships-0/ and is due to the Washington County by November 30, 2021. One female and one male across the state will be awarded $500 each, the winner will be announced at the annual NAFM convention in January.
National Western Stock Show - Catch-a-Calf Program
The National Western Stock Show is around the corner. This programs is the best in the Nation for young people to participate.

Volunteer Road Show
Nebraska 4-H is excited to bring the 4-H Volunteer Road Show to volunteers statewide this November! The 4-H Volunteer Road Show will rotate host locations each year, get registered today at the location near you. Please see the above flyer for details regarding the dates, locations and times. Each Road Show location will have the following schedule: meal and table topics, 4-H Volunteer Impact and Introduction of Resources, choice of workshops for session 1 and 2 and finished with a wrap-up session on introducing parliamentary procedure to youth. Visit https://4h.unl.edu/volunteer-road-show for more specific information and registration link. Registration closes one week prior to each Road Show session.
