Telesis Preparatory Academy
Parents Who Care
Join us for an important information session on Bullying Prevention and Support.
At Telesis, we are dedicated to making certain that our school remains a safe learning environment for all students. With that in mind, bullying is a serious issue that every school in the nation faces. Nationwide, research shows that more than half of all school-aged children will be involved in bullying this year as a victim or a perpetrator with many more witnessing bullying acts on a regular basis.
Here, we believe in working together with parents to combat bullying. We know this problem isn’t confined to school grounds. Bullying at school affects and is affected by what happens at home between siblings, what happens in the neighborhood, and what happens when kids go online. We must work together to take immediate action, whether a child bullies, is a victim of bullying, or is a witness to bullying.
Please join us in support of your child and our school, so you can be informed!
Bullying Prevention and Support Meeting
Please join us in Room 34 for this informative meeting. We encourage parents to attend. Students are welcome to attend. However, due to limited space, we may encourage some students to wait or play outside until the meeting is adjourned. We look forward to following up with Bully Prevention Enrichment projects school-wide to help students become involved and responsible advocates for positive character! Please be sure to RSVP by January 21st, 2014 via email to Erin Liesz @ erinleisz@yahoo.com or Andrea Helart @ ahelart@telesis-academy.org to let us know if you would like to attend. We look forward to seeing you there!
