Responsibility Student of the Month

Congratulations to Rylen and Audrey for being chosen as the Responsibility Students of the Month! Rylen and Audrey will be invited to eat lunch on the stage with Mrs. Curran!

Hamilton County Historian Visit

We enjoyed learning about the history of Fishers with the Hamilton County Historian, David Heighway! It was awesome to learn from a true expert!

Grandparent's Day

Don't forget that next Friday, September 26th is Grandparent's Day at TCE! The special event will take place from 9:10-11:35, with each grade level hosting a specific time slot.
Below is the timeline for the days’ activities:
  • 9:10-9:50 Kindergarten
  • 9:35-10:15 3rd Grade
  • 10:00-10:40 1st Grade
  • 10:30-11:10 2nd Grade
  • 10:55-11:35 4th Grade

We are Learning...

Reading: We are learning to be problem solvers as we read! Readers have strategies for figuring out tricky words as they read!

Math: We are focusing on subtraction strategies to help us subtract quickly and fluently!

Writing: We are learning about the structure of a personal narrative. We are using mentor texts to help us understand the elements of personal narratives.

Social Studies: We are continuing to learn about the history of our community! We are studying books, old pictures, and timelines to learn more about Mudsocks!
