KSD Holiday Store
WHO: Students and Staff who are interested in purchasing inexpensive gifts for their families and friends and even themselves.
WHAT: KSD Holiday Store
WHEN: Thursday, November 19, 2020
WHY: To give KSD students the opportunity to shop for their families at a very reasonable cost. It also serves as a fundraiser to help support families and programs at KSD.
HOW: The Holiday Store is made possible by the donations and efforts of many people. In order for it to be successful help is needed from everyone. We need donations ASAP of new and gently used gift items, men’s gift items, gift baskets, games, books, toys, knickknacks, jewelry, etc. Also needed are Holiday candies (Kisses, Rolos, Milky Ways, Snickers, Reeses, M&Ms, etc.).
*****Halloween is over and the Christmas candies will hit the shelves. We are in need of all kinds of different bagged Christmas candies.
Parents, guardians, caregivers (preschool/elementary/and some middle school age): Please send a list of names of people you want your child to shop for on or before November 16th along with their money. Most gifts are priced $3.00 and under so you can base that price on how much money you send with them. Also with the list of names, please include who they are in relationship and an age if they are younger so whoever is helping them shop will have an idea of what to look for. Any ideas for gifts are greatly appreciated. Such as, this person likes candy, this person likes candles, this person likes holiday items, etc. The kids get very excited to shop for their family. High school kids need to remember to bring their money and shop on their own.
DONATIONS ARE ALWAYS BEING ACCEPTED!!! Please bring them to the Emery Hall office.
VOLUNTEERS --- Help is needed to work on Thursday, November 19th, when the store is open.

Meet our Kindergarten Teacher: Paul Ososki!
Hello everyone! My name is Paul! I wasn’t born here in Kansas, I’m from Michigan. I grew up there and then went to college and moved here to Kansas. I have a pet dog named “Rage.” He is a black and white, medium-sized dog that I look forward to seeing him when I get home each day. ….umm...what’s next? Oh! What do I love about KSD? I love that everyone uses ASL! KSD functions as my 2nd home. Lastly, a fun fact about me: I have been skydiving twice in my life. It was a fun, wild ride! Bye!
