Letter to the Bobcat Community
Parents and Scholars,
Our latest update on COVID is we have consistently been in the Orange Zone for the last 21 days, which means COVID is going down but slowly, so please continue to follow all safety protocols such as social distancing and wearing your mask. We ask that if someone in the family is feeling sick and your scholar is now attending on campus, please keep them home until that family member is tested and receives their results.
I am also encouraging everyone that wishes to receive the vaccine to sign up at as many sights as possible. The CDC has stated that in order for us to start getting back to our "old normal," we need at least 80% of the population to get vaccinated.
A friendly reminder that you can now view your scholar's six-week progress report in Parent Portal. If you do not have an account, please contact Mrs. Clark at tucker.clark@sisd.net or 937-2000.
Stay Safe,
Remember, Bobcats, we are all in this together, and we are here for you.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
Socorro ISD has developed a list of questions and answers to openly share information and proactively answer questions regarding students and employees returning to school and work for the 2020-2021 school year. We know our stakeholders have many questions, and we will do our best to answer all in a timely manner, but we ask for your patience as our team continues to work through the many issues that must be addressed. Rest assured that we will update this list and communicate with you often as information becomes available and as we seek additional guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), Texas Education Agency (TEA) and local health and government officials.
