Principal's Pen

Dear Bishop Baraga Trekkers,

June is finally here! This is our last week of school. Now is the time to start returning textbooks and chrome books. You should be receiving an email from your teachers letting you know what should be returned to school. This week the office will be open during the following hours.

Tuesday: 11:00 a.m - 6:00 p.m.

Wednesday: 11:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.

Thursday: 11:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.

Please stop in during these times to drop off school property in the entryway. There are tables set up on which to place your items. The 5th through 8th grade lockers have been emptied. Each student's items have been placed in a bag with their name. Please make sure to grab those bags if you have a student in 5th through 8th grade.

This Thursday, at 6:00 p.m., I am setting up a time to meet with parents on a zoom meeting. I would love to hear your feedback regarding the last few months. I know this experience has been very different for parents depending on the grade level of your children. I would like to know what went right and what did not go right. The goal for next year is that we have 180 days of school face-to-face and have no distance learning. However, if there were periods that required distance learning, your feedback now would be invaluable! I would also love to hear your ideas and share some of my own. The link for this meeting is below. Feel free to join me any time during that hour. Again, this meeting is open to all parents and will be held on Thursday, June 4th, at 6:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.

This Friday we will be emailing report cards. If you would prefer getting a paper copy of your report card, please email Mrs. Steinbrecher at We will mail you a copy. We also post the report cards on SchoolSpeak where you can view them or print them.

Know that you and your families will continue to be in my prayers during the summer. Have a safe and happy summer break!

God bless,

Angela Oller

Congrats to our Graduates!

The staff had a wonderful time visiting all our graduates at their homes this week. We are so proud of each of them! We will be having their graduation ceremony on July 14th at American Martyrs Parish, but we just had to acknowledge what would have been their graduation day. We love you, graduates!

Music Lessons from Mr. Span

Mr. Span is available to teach private music lesson this summer. He teaches trumpet and drum set lessons at the school each week. If you are interested, please give him a call (906-241-9422) or email him at
