ABOUT THE FILM ~ Screenagers is about the impact of the digital age on children and how to help them minimize harmful effects and find balance. After seeing the film, people tell us that they feel more confident and better equipped to establish balance around screen time.

CLASS BASKET ITEMS NEEDED BY the 26th!
Each Fall PTF hosts their major fundraising event for the year: the Harvest Festival. This year the Harvest Festival is Friday, October 27th from 5:00-8:30p.m. (Please watch out for more details on this event coming soon!)
As many of you know, our class baskets are key to this event. They will be on display in the school office, the church, and finally, raffled off at the end of the night at the Harvest Festival. (The purchase of tickets towards the raffling of each basket is how we raise funds). After speaking with several of our room parents, we are still in need of donations for these baskets. PTF has asked the room mom's to have their class basket complete and in the school office bySeptember 26th- and that's only a few days away!
It's really important that every class make their basket the best it can be. Your room mom's goal is to make your class basket as attractive as possible so everyone wants to buy a ticket for it. The more tickets that are sold, the more money our PTF gathers and can use to benefit the children of Grace!
An easy way to donate is to simply place some money in an envelope ($10, $20, $40 or more) and put it in your student's special delivery envelope this weekend. (Don't forget to label the envelope so it goes to the appropriate class basket.) Also for this year, every $10.00 you spend for or donate to the class basket is equal to 1 Family Service Hour. Just attach your receipts to your Family Service Hour Tracker or write your donation amount on the form.
Don't forget that PTF funds go towards teacher training, school-wide technology support, student programs (such as sports and sports equipment), Grandparent's Day, and much, much more!

SAVE THE DATE! Pastor Jim’s “Celebrate Grace” Farewell
Plans are underway for a celebration and BBQ on January 21st, 2018. There will also be some occasions the week before for anyone to say farewell to Pastor Jim.
