Please remember:
To accomplish this well, your child will need to be diligent about studying and working on notebook assignments. Please help your child navigate this around their extracurricular activities. For example, if Tuesday and Thursday are going to be busy one week, please let them know to plan to work on Science/ SS notebooks on the other days. They will still have time to work on these things in class, but many of the children will need some time at home to be successful.
After reading for 20 minutes, your child shouldn't spend more than another 20 focused minutes on Social Studies on any given night. Reviewing notes in the car as you travel from point A to point B should also be helpful. :-)
All Things Lewis & Clark
I can't believe that tomorrow is the final after school rehearsal!! Please do whatever you can to help your child make it to this practice... Your child should bring their costume to school tomorrow. Practice will be over at 4:00.
Thursday details:
Morning - I will leave the decision about whether your child wears or brings their costume on Thursday morning up to you. If the costume includes a hat or prop-type item, please send this in a bag or their backpack. The performance begins at 10:30 that morning if you are planning to attend.
Evening - Speaking parts should report to the music room by 6:00; Non-speaking parts should report to our classroom by 6:15. The performance begins at 6:30, but the Strings class will perform first. If at all possible, your child should have their costume on when they arrive.
If you have any questions, you probably aren't the only one. Please let me know, and I will make sure to clarify any of the specifics. :-)
