This Week @ CPC
March 11, 2020
Words from Sam!
I want to give a shout out to the choir for their good music on Sunday and for their faithfulness to our music ministry in this time of transition. They will be in the Parish Hall this Sunday providing musical leadership. If you are a fan of the contemporary service, please come out and support it. If this service is not your favorite worship experience, come anyway and be surprised. John’s accounts of Nicodemus will be our focus.
As you pray this week,
- Remember a grandson going through family stress
- Leroy Glenn
- Alex McCloud off to serve in Kuwait
- A nephew also in a far away place
- For a friend Emily healing after an operation
- Paul Timms and the Clayton family as they grieve the loss of Dian Timms.
- For the growth of our children’s program here at the church

"A PIECE OF THE PUZZLE"
The MONTREAT puzzle that is!
During the next few weeks, members of our youth group will be asking church
members to sponsor a piece of our Montreat puzzle to get our youth to the conferences
June 7-13, 2020 and July 15-19, 2020. You may receive a phone call or be asked in
person so we wanted to give you a heads up on how this works. The youth will be
putting together a large puzzle on the bulletin board located outside the parlor. They
will be calling YOU to ask for your support by sponsoring pieces of the puzzle. You
choose the amount you feel you can donate and your name will be added to a puzzle
piece and placed on the board. Each youth is paying part of his or her way but this
fundraiser is to help with additional costs. If you would be willing to make a donation,
please mark your gift “Montreat” and either place it in the offering plate or drop it off at
the office with Pam. Please consider helping our youth FIT THE PUZZLE TOGETHER!
Thank you in advance!
