Important Information

Back to School Night for Grades 1-5

This is just a reminder that Back to School Night will be taking place this Wednesday night (9/20) from 6:00 PM-7:30 PM. Doors will open at 5:50 PM, however, all parents/guardians will need to head directly to the cafeteria. This document contains an overview of the night, but I'm also providing some information below as well!

Doors Open: 5:50 PM

Introductions and Quick Presentation: 6:00 PM-6:20 PM

Session #1: 6:25 PM - 6:55 PM

Session #2: 7:00 PM - 7:30 PM

*Please note that these sessions are designed to provide an overview of each teacher’s systems, routines, and expectations, in addition to their curriculum and assessments. Since these are general overview sessions, we ask that you hold any questions or concerns that are specific to your child and request a time to meet with your child’s teacher to discuss them.

**If sessions end early, please do not head to the next session until an announcement is made. There will be resources in the cafeteria (St. Lukes, Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, Staples Give-away, etc.) for families to tap into in between and after sessions.

***Due to limited seating, we are asking that only parents/guardians attend.

Mum Pick Up

Don't forget that mum pick up is on 9/19 and 9/20 from 3-6 by the pavilion. Please make it a point to get here on either date since we don't have the ability to store the mums after these dates!

Volunteers Needs

Our PIE Team works exceptionally hard at putting great events and fundraisers together to support our staff and students. That said, we are in dire need of volunteers because they can't do it alone. If you are able to dedicate some time to at least 1 event, please complete this survey.

About Us

At QE, we challenge our students academically and behaviorally through our state-recognized Positive Behavior Support Program, P.R.I.D.E. Every QE student is taught to presevere, show respect, be in control, show dependability, and effort in all school and life endeavors.

The children are our most cherished possessions. Please know that we will do everything in our power to make sure your child feels respected, safe, happy, and successful at Quakertown Elementary School. When we are working together; parents, teachers, staff, and students, we will come together to help each child reach their fullest learning potential.
