Welcome New Associate Director for Student Center Operations -Kim Celano

We would like to welcome Kim to the SCO Team and to the Suite 219M family!!

As many of you know, Kim is a Temple lifer – she did both her undergrad and graduate work here - and she has been working full time with Campus Recreation for the last 6 years. She brings a wealth of knowledge about Temple, experience in staffing and customer experience, and an energy and entrepreneurism to the Student Center staff ensemble. We are very excited to have her on the team and will be bringing her around to meet folks soon. Thanks in advance for your typically, warm and inviting Temple welcome for Kim!

Food Review

What's good to eat on campus?

Megan's Famous

When Tina asked me to write a short little story about a fantastic foodie experience around Temple University, I thought long and hard about what I should write. There are many amazing options….buffalo chicken cheesesteaks from Plaza Pizza, tuna melts from The Bagel Hut, nearly anything from The Sexy Green Truck….but this holiday season I am going to try my best to do some money saving…and bring my lunch as much as possible!!! Perhaps, this is a great idea, or perhaps my turkey and cheese sandwiches will become extremely bland by day two, but again, I will try my best. In an effort to still have “exciting” and delicious lunches without eating out, I think we should share some of our yummy recipes from home! I will be the first and I hope others follow:

Chicken Casserole (a favorite of Ms. Chris and myself!)

1lb of boneless chicken

1 can of cream of chicken soup

1 package of Stove Top Stuffing (already prepared)

1 package of shredded cheddar cheese

Pre-heat your oven to 325 degrees. Place the chicken in a casserole dish, spread out as evenly as possible. Spread the can of soup over the chicken. Spread the stuffing over top. Sprinkle with cheese and bake for one hour. Not only will you have a great dinner, but think of the leftovers you can have for lunch the next day! Enjoy!
