Roadrunner Staff Spotlight

My name is Saba Karim. I am the Health Assistant here at Loma Ridge. I am so grateful to be a part of an amazing team & community here at Loma. I have 3 beautiful children, of which many years ago I was fortunate enough to take some time off and raise. My oldest is a sophomore at Portola High School, my middle child is a 6th Grader at Beacon Park, and my youngest is a 5th Grader here at Loma. I was born & raised in MIlwaukee, WIsconsin, and am definitely a diehard Packers, Bucks and Brewers fan. My family & I moved from Wisconsin to California about 5 years ago for my husband to pursue his career in advertising & we have been in Irvine since. As much as I miss home, I don’t think I could ever go back to the long cold winters. My kids keep me so busy with all of their activities, but when I am able I love to hike, explore new areas here in California, and of course spend time at the beach. I love to cook, but my passion is to bake and create cakes for family birthdays. Other than that I definitely love to spend time with family and friends.
