Pāpāmoa Primary
Growing Successful Learners - Whakatipu Mātauranga

Matt's Message
Kia ora Whānau
Welcome back to school after what was a rather long first term holiday. We very much appreciated your support with the couple of teacher only days that happened at each end of the holidays. This enabled us to complete some of the important professional development that we need for our staff to continue to achieve our strategic aims in 2023.
Working Bee
Most of you will have seen from our Facebook posts over the weekend the amazing amount of work that was undertaken on Saturday to complete the confidence course, clear out the gardens and also some extra work around our new sandpit area.
What a transformational day!
I would again like to thank all of the volunteers involved in the day from the Builder Dad's through to all the other community members and parents who supported this mahi. A special thanks also to the Kiwi Can team for feeding the workers with a great BBQ.
A big thanks also to ITM Mount for the donation of all of the timber for the confidence course stations, Anzor for all of the fixings, Chaytor fences for the powder coated monkey bar and Rope Workx for all of the ropes on the structures.
A special mention to Ross Nicholas from Sol Landscaping for his mahi around our sand pit area that is also now completed with a little extra support on the weekend.
It was a great day to be a member of Pāpāmoa Primary.

School Uniform Review
Due to the schools current uniform contract expiring in July 2023, the board is looking to review the current school and sports uniforms at Pāpāmoa Primary. The board would like community feedback to use as part of this process.
Some of the considerations the board are looking into include;
*Cost effectiveness
*Longevity of garment
*Purchase location / Accessibility
PLEASE NOTE
Any change in school uniform will not take place until 2024 at the earliest and will have an approx. 2 year phasing process.

Pāpāmoa Pou
We were fortunate to have an article written in the education gazette about our school pou. A copy of the article is below for you to enjoy.
12 Months On
One of the big things that was shared with me when I got to Pāpāmoa Primary was the want to have pride in our school, from the people through to the physical spaces. These two photos show some of the transition around the school in the last 12 months.
