Feel Good Friday
with Ms. McCoy, Mrs. Temme, and Ms. Kellerman
September 18th 2020
We are so happy you are back with us! Last week we talked about various ways to care for yourself... have you tried something new? No worries if you are still warming up to the idea, but challenge yourself this week to be more mindful. What am I doing to care for myself? Am I showing myself as much love as I show others? How can I integrate an activity of self care into my everyday life?
Getting yourself right is a good first step to be in place to help others.
IB Learner Profile for Sepetember:
Caring
We show empathy, compassion and respect. We have a commitment to service, and we act to make a positive difference in the lives of others and in the world around us.
Caring for others doesn't have to be difficult. Just being kind, sharing, being polite, smiling or sensitive to other's feelings. One of the biggest reasons it's important to care for others is that it gives us the ability to make a positive difference in someone else's life. Hopefully, the care YOU extend inspires other people to carry it forward. Wow- and just like that, you're changing the world.
Wearing a mask to show you care for the health, safety, and well-being of others!
