Oh my gosh!! Thank you to everyone for your hard work on the fund run. We raised over $15,000! Unbelievable, thank you! The packets came pouring in on Monday so I know the call to action and the assembly on Friday really made a difference!
Casino night was a HUGE success! I don't know how much money was made, but boy was it a blast! Hopefully this will be an annual event so if you missed it this year you will have another opportunity.
Little dribblers is a really fun opportunity for students in grades K-4 to play basketball! Saturdays from Jan. 18 - Feb. 29 at Evergreen Middle School. There is a flier attached to the original email with more info. If you are interested and money is an issue, PLEASE see me and I can likely help! You must be registered by Dec. 1 and provide your own transportation.
This week we will be doing "The Great Shake Out" on Oct. 17 at 10:17 AM. Students will learn what to do in the event of an earthquake and we'll be learning with thousands of others at the same time!
Halloween is coming soon and there are questions about costumes. We do allow students to wear costumes with some guidelines: No masks, face paint is ok; no weapons or fake weapons, costume must follow school dress code. If you have a question about a specific costume or item, please give me a call or send me an email.
Conferences will be here before you know it, so if you haven't signed up for a time, please call the office and do so! We will have conferences on Nov. 6 from 2:45 - 7:30 PM, and Nov. 7 from 7:30AM - 7:30 PM. This is a very important time for you to have 1:1 time with the teacher and find out how the school year is going for your child
Harvest Festival is back! This year we will have the Harvest Festival on Oct. 23 from 5:30 - 7:30 PM. There will be a hay maze, tatoos, a photos booth, and a lot of fun games! PTO is looking for volunteers, so please use this link to sign up! https://www.signupgenius.com/go/9040B4CACA92AA64-harvest
Our fall book fair is coming soon as well and your help is once again needed! The book fair is Oct. 28 - 31 and here is the link to volunteer: https://www.signupgenius.com/go/9040B4CACA92AA64-fall
Have a wonderful weekend!
