Safety & Security
Over the course of the next month teachers and students will be receiving ALICE Training.
ALICE is the leading training solution that increases an organization's and individual's odds of survival during a violent intruder event. ALICE, which stands for Alert, Lockdown, Inform, Counter, and Evacuate, is a strategy that goes beyond the conventional lockdown.
Teacher ALICE Training will occur this coming Monday, October 14, with student training taking place soon afterwards.
The school will also be conducting various safety drills over the course of the next academic quarter including, fire, shelter in place, clear the halls, stay put and evacuate.
We are currently seeking to enlist the assistance of WPD to assist in active shooter drills and hope to have several scenarios in place to improve our student and staff awareness and safety.
