Puerto Rico is an unincorporated territory of the United States. Puerto Rico is also described as "a territory appurtenant and belonging to the United States, but not a part of the United States". Puerto Rico is also considered a Caribbean nation with their own national identity.

Baseball is Puerto Rico's favorite sport. This is because a lot of families don't live close to places where there are basketball courts and football fields most of Puerto Rico is grass land and dirt perfect to play baseball or football.
Puerto Rico's famous animal
Coqui is a Puerto Rican tiny tree frog that is very small actually about one inch long. Some coquíes look green, some brown and some yellowish. Coquíes have a high pitched sound and can be heard from far away.
Puerto Rico's Capital
San Juan is Puerto Rico's capital. It has a population of 395,326 making it the 46th-largest city. San Juan was found by Spanish colonists.

Puerto Rico has its own supply of gold. Puerto became the first to print 8-real banknotes.
