High Levels of Learning for All!
What's Happening the Week of April 27th
We have a lot happening in the next few weeks. This Wednesday is 4th grade Field Day at the high school. We will leave at 8:30 sharp and return at 10:45 am. Please make sure your child wears appropriate clothing and shoes. If you would like to send sunscreen, please do so. Also a water bottle is highly recommended.
On Thursday night, 4th grade students will be showcasing their talents during the 4th Grade Music performance. The students need to be at school by 5:45 for their performance at 6 pm. Please have them report to our classroom.
What We're Learning
Writing: We are learning about tall tales and will begin creating our own. We will including all we have learned about figurative language and dialogue in this writing piece.
Math: We are creating Lego constructions and finding the volume. This will start with video lessons 11.5
Science: We will be finishing up our soil/soil conservation unit. The students will research and assimilate a conservation practice for the classroom.
Social Studies: We are working on Westward Expansion.
Spelling: We will not have spelling the rest of the school year.

Thursday, May 7th: Major Saver Limo Ride (for those that qualified)
