Terminal Park Back to School!
Welcome to Terminal Park Elementary, Home of the Tigers
Tigers are GREAT!
This school year is the last in the current building. In the 2022-23 school year, we will temporarily be housed in the old Olympic Middle School and in the 2023-24 school year, return to a brand new Terminal Park Elementary School.
Arrival at School
All students eating breakfast, will enter the school at the double doors near the south end of the building.
Grades K-2 students not eating breakfast will enter the school grounds through a gate next to the primary classrooms. This will give them easy access to outside doors for most classes.
Arriving by Car: Students arriving by car will be dropped off in the parking lot at the south end of the school (staff parking lot). They will be greeted by a staff member.
Walkers: Parents cannot walk students to class. This is a COVID safety measure.
On the attached map, designated drop off locations are indicated. We will have staff there to welcome and direct students to their classrooms.
Arriving by Bus: Students arriving by bus will be directed to their appropriate direction to meet their class. Staff and teachers will be available to guide them Follow this link to find your bus stop information.
All students attending the PM live instruction should eat lunch before arriving on campus. There is no eating in classrooms. They will be given a lunch and the next day's breakfast as they leave for the day.
Leaving School
Leaving by Car: We will again have our Valet system for pick up of students. In this system, families and students have permanent matching number cards that will help us quickly identify which car a student rides in. The adult attendant will match the number card of the student with that displayed in the car and help load the student into the vehicle. Apply here for the valet system.
Walkers: Parents may wait only in the designated pick-up area as indicated on the attached map. Teachers will walk students to the buses, the Valet Car area and to the Tiger Pen. Parents of walkers may pick up students from the Tiger Pen.
Bus: Teachers will walk students to the bus and make sure they are loaded. All kindergarten students have a district issued tag to insure they are on the correct bus.

Title 1
Title I, Part A funding can support early learning and Kindergarten to grade 12. These programs and services provide customized instruction and curricula that helps students meet academic standards and take an active, engaged interest in what they can learn and do. As the oldest and largest federal education program, Title I, Part A programs build equity of opportunity for children whose struggles often keep them on the academic sidelines. One-third of the public schools in Washington state operate Title I, Part A programs, providing academic services to over 350,000 students annually.
