Homecoming Details
Homecoming week will be here before you know it! Let me know if you have any questions! Details are listed below!
- This year we have been asked to walk in the parade and create a banner for each homeroom.
- The parade is going to go up around the square and pause for the crowning of the King & Queen and everyone will pause and watch.
- Once the crowning is done we will walk to the middle school and dismiss students on the middle school grounds. Students will board buses there.
- Any parents wanting to pick up their students and not have them participate in the parade need to pick up their students from GCIS by 1:00pm.
- Any student that brings a bag to school on Friday will have to take their bag with them and carry it throughout the parade.
Creating Banners:
- Due to needing to find time for this, I am proposing the week of Homecoming (Wednesday October 7th) instead of having clubs that day, use club time to design and create your banner for the parade in your homeroom.
Mustache Monday!
Students and Staff are encouraged to purchase a mustache for $1 in the office unless you are Mark and Doug!
I included in the GCIS Newsletter to families they can start bringing money next week. Please send the student to the office with their money and we will get them marked as paid.
We will organize and distribute the mustaches on Friday!
