What is Gestational Diabetes?
Common Symptoms/ Problems
Symptoms may also include excessive hunger, fatigue, increased thirst, frequent urination, and even yeast infection.
Problems that affect the baby are that they may have excessive birth weight, they are likely to be born prematurely, experience respitory distress syndrome, and they have a high chance of having Type 2 Diabetes in their later years of life. Problems can also occur with the mother. If giving birth prematurely, this could harm both the mother, and the baby, especially with the mothers low blood sugar.
