From Ms. Fenwick

Spelling: New spelling list this week with the test being on Friday!

Reading: We will be continuing our first novel study of the book The Sign of the Beaver! The students will continue to read their own individualized selections for their Genre Bingo Card--due on October 5th. No Wordly Wise this week! Don't forget that their Reading Check-In on eCLASS is due every Friday.

Writing: We will be focusing on Conjunctions again this week through our Mentor Sentence we found in a book we read together, The Memory String. We will focus on building our writing stamina through several fun activities and finish our first narrative writing piece: A Day in the Life of a Water Drop! We will then begin focusing on how to write a friendly letter!
