Student Entrance

The safety of our students is paramount. In order to monitor arrival, students are able to enter the building in three locations. The Main Entrance, West Side Entrance, and East Side Rear Entrance are the three access points in the morning. After 7:30, students are only able to enter the building through the Main Entrance. Students and staff should not open other exterior doors for student and/or visitor access. Thank you for your cooperation.

Environmental Science

Environmental Science students spent the class period outdoors identifying different factors in our local environment and completing a scavenger hunt. Being outdoors has been proven to improve health by decreasing blood pressure and heart rate. The students also collected over 100 pieces of trash and recyclables from around campus.

Fall Festival

We would like to invite you to participate in our Annual Fall Festival on October 21, 2023. This event will be held at Council Rock High School North campus, rain or shine. The Fall Festival is a class fundraising for graduating seniors. There will be a variety of clubs, vendors, activities, and much more. The variety of activities, fall atmosphere. and the gathering of the community is why this event is so successful. Business donations help us with our class auction that will take place at 1 p.m. If you would like to participate as a vendor, in the classic car show, or make a donation, please contact Mr. Dave Diehl at ddiehl@crsd.org.

Thank you,

The Class of 2024

PLC/Teacher Collaboration Late Start (September 18, 2023)

Dr. Rick DuFour defines a professional learning community (PLC) as “a group of people working interdependently toward the same goal.” Interdependence is an essential element because it:

  • Provides equal access (equity, or universal access) to quality teaching by strengthening each teacher’s practice through collaboration, coaching, and shared planning
  • Ends teacher isolation (thus reducing burnout)
  • Helps teachers work smarter by sharing the tasks of analyzing data, creating common assessment tools, and devising other strategies for both students who struggle and those who need more challenge
  • Provides teacher professional growth and job satisfaction through intellectual renewal, new learning, and cultivating leadership

The process is intended to harness the collective energies, talents, and expertise of teaching professionals.

Throughout the year staff will participate in this work from 7:30 - 8:15 am. The school building will open and transportation will run as normal, but Period 01 will not begin until 8:18. Students arriving at the normal time will report to a designated area for a study hall. If a student is able to provide their own transportation they can arrive later but before the 8:18 start time.

The other dates for the 2023-2024 school year are: Oct. 30, Dec. 11, Jan. 8, Feb. 12, Mar. 11 and Apr. 22.
