From rock to classical, solos to ensembles, along with both of our choirs there was huge diversity on show. We were uplifted by high quality performances of well known pieces by the great composers and songwriters, but even more so by those who wrote and presented their own work.

Whatever the weather….

As the weather gets colder, may we take this chance to remind our parents of the School’s Emergency Closure Guidance in case we need to close the School due to adverse weather conditions.

Copas Turkey Offer

Order online using code ‘CCS16’ to earn the School PTA £5. Anyone collecting their turkeys that they ordered on this offer will be able to go and say hello to a couple of Santa’s helpers and have their picture taken too. As well as meeting the reindeer there will be many other treats including wine tasting, cooking and carving demonstrations, a choir and Father Christmas himself.

CHRISTMAS LUNCH

This year our Christmas lunch will be served to Transition, Junior, Senior Girls and Sixth Form on Friday 9 December.

REMINDER: If your child does not wish to have Christmas lunch, or has a dietary requirement please complete this form by 30 November. The menu can be viewed on the school website.

BREAKFAST CLUB

The Breakfast Club is available in the School Dining Hall from 8.15am until registration Monday to Friday - a variety of items are on sale from croissants/pain au chocolate/fruit and yoghurt.

A Year 8 girl would love to be reunited with her 'Jose' Guitar in a black case. The actual guitar has a green circle on it. Please hand into the school office if found.

JEANS FOR GENES

Thank you to all who took part in the recent Jeans for Genes day on Friday 23 September 2016 - we managed to raise a total of £1039.69 across all three schools. A great achievement.

Travelling Book Fair

A huge thank you to all those who started their Christmas shopping at the book fair this week! The fair was a great success and raised a healthy commission for our Libraries. Student Reading Panel members will help decide how the money will be spent, so watch this space for Panel meeting dates…
