Many suburban neighborhoods like our own have been stepping outside their homes and clapping in support of medical workers and essential personnel at 7 PM each night. We encourage you to show your support and feel more connected to our community during this time of social distancing, Set a reminder and get outside at 7 PM. Stay in front of their own home and continue to socially distance but would come out to clap, cheer, ring a bell or horn as a show of support for our all of those on the front lines and keeping us safe.

Many of our existing board members' terms are drawing to a close. We're looking for strong, enthusiastic folks who would like to take on leadership roles in the PTO. Open positions for the coming 2 years include:

• 2 Co-Presidents
• 2 Co-Vice Presidents
• 2 Co-Corresponding Secretaries
• 1 Co-Recording Secretary
• 1 Co-Treasurer

Specific duties for each role are described in our PTO By-Laws on our PTO website. Our nominating committee will be soliciting nominations over the coming weeks. Board elections will be conducted at our May PTO meeting, with specific timing to be updated based on school schedules.
