Anti-war movement
by: Paula Goodale
walk for peace
A larger portion of the u.s population wanted to stay in peace with Vietnam. Many people protested against war, trying to stop it.
Hippies
hippies were the biggest anti war protesters. they beleived in peace and everyone getting along. They were also really big on the use of drugs. (:
Anti-war
Only a few people were for the war. most just wanted to keep peace with Vietnam, but the majority didn't rule.
end the war!
The war wasn't only effecting the people fighting it. People back at home were in a crisis, they didn't have their leaders there to help them. and they just wanted the war to end
loss
Many families lost people they loved, and there was never even a good reason why this war was fought to them, so they were getting more and more angry.
- During the time of the Vietnam war, hippies were very popular.
- Vietnamese people were stronger than the u.s thought
- Communism was the main reason war was thought of.
- There were mass murders of Vietnamese cities
- Vietcong fought back and damaged american soldiers
I chose to do the anti-war movement because it was more interesting to me, and i like reading about the different types of warfare.
