From the desk of Mrs. Anderson

This week we are highlighting our 4-H club! This year the 4-H club is focusing on STEAM. (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math) Recently, the students have been working on Slime Science. They have learned that slime is a Non-Newtonian liquid which is neither a liquid nor a solid. The next club meeting will include comparing and contrasting different types of slime! The students are having fun while also learning the values of Head, Heart, Hands, and Health.

Our teachers are working hard during their Professional Learning Community meetings each week to analyze student academic data. They look at strengths as well as areas in which we can grow. The teachers take this information and develop strategies to help our students continue to grow academically! As a district we focus on student learning, customer service and safety! We are preparing our students to become “Tomorrow Ready.”

Thanksgiving is approaching quickly. Within our busy world, it is important to slow down a little and take time to reflect on what we are thankful for each day. I am thankful for our students, parents, staff, community, and my family and friends! I wish all of you a very Happy Thanksgiving!!
