The Triangle Factory Fire Project
by Christopher Piehler in collaboration with Scott Alan Evans
Directed by Mark Hamilton
Tickets on sale starting February 1 at LS Hy-Vee stores or online here.
The cast list can be viewed here.
Saturday, March 25, 1911. 4:45 P.M. In the Triangle Waist Factory off downtown Manhattan's Washington Square, a cigarette is tossed into a bin of fabric scraps. Despite desperate efforts, flames sweep through the eighth, ninth and tenth floors. In the space of twenty-eight minutes, 146 people have died.
The Triangle Factory Fire Project uses eyewitness accounts, court transcripts and other archival material to create a dramatic moment-by-moment account. By using real words spoken by real people, it paints a heartbreaking clear picture of a disastrous day in American history and explores the human toll such a tragedy takes on us all.

June Musical
Book & Lyrics by Bryan Yorkey and Music by Tom Kitt
June 15, 16, 22, 23, 24
Directed by Gabriel Livingston
Musical direction by Becca Stabno
Next to Normal explores how one suburban household copes with crisis and mental illness.
Dad's an architect; Mom rushes to pack lunches and pour cereal; their daughter and son are bright, wise-cracking teens, appearing to be a typical American family. And yet their lives are anything but normal because their mother has been battling manic depression for 16 years.
Next to Normal takes audiences into the minds and hearts of each character, presenting their family's story with love, sympathy and heart. This deeply moving piece provides an energetic pop/rock score amid dramatic material. Next to Normal is an emotional powerhouse that address such issues as grieving a loss, ethics in modern psychiatry, and suburban life.
Due to the content, this show is for mature audiences only. Suggested viewing age is 15 and older.
