Advantages of Biodiesel
Biodiesel is helpful to the earth, and to humans. It has renewable fuels, which helps reduce pollution and health problems. It is also made out of replenishable plants, so we won't be burning fossil fuels. Biodiesel will drastically improve air quality. Your car will also be able to run off of biodiesel, postponing the day you'll have to change the engine or buy a new car.
Disadvantages of Biodiesel
Biodiesel still has disadvantages. Some of those disadvantages are losing wildlife, lower energy density, fewer miles can be driven per gallon, deforestation, and more greenhouse gasses.
Did You Know?
Biodiesel is a biofuel that can be blended with normal diesel. Technically it is not a full biofuel on its own. Also some vehicles can run on pure vegetable oil.
How it works?
Parts of biodiesel is extracted from plants, and mixed in with regular diesel which is what fuels the vehicle in which you are driving.
