Parent Teacher ConferenceBoys and Girls State
- Summer leadership and citizenship program for high school juniors
- · These students are nominated by the teachers here at the high school.
- · The cost for a sponsorship is $300 per student. We are sending 5 this year (we received extra spots) to Girls State, and 3 to Boys State.
As participants in this program, students will learn public speaking, create and enforce laws, and actively participate in all phases of creating and running a working government. They will meet other students from across the state. Also, they will receive scholarship/admission preference for attending this event. All in all, it’s pretty cool! :)
