5th Grade Program
All students should wear jeans and a solid color shirt that corresponds to their homeroom:
Allen - blue
Johnson - red
Scott - green
Graber - yellow
Stewart - black
**Please check with your student for the permission slip to participate in the program.**
Spring Behavior Expectations
As we move into the Spring Semester, Mrs. Johnson and Mrs. Scott will have a new behavior plan in place. The details are below, and the goal of this new structure is to prepare your child for the Red Oak Middle School environment. You will receive a copy of this updated plan in your child's planner this week. It needs to be signed and returned. If you have any questions, please let us know. Thanks!
*We have two types of marks
- Clipboard-small infractions that we usually do not call home about or sign in the planner
- Behavior Marks-larger infractions that are signed in the planner and put on Class Dojo
*New Structure for Spring Semester for Clipboard Marks
- 2 clipboard marks in one week = reflection form at recess
- 3 clipboard marks in one week = phone call home
- 4 clipboard marks in one week = Behavior Mark
*New Structure for Spring Semester for Behavior Marks
- Behavior Mark = reflection form at recess
- 3 Behavior Marks in a 6 Weeks (these marks are cumulative. It isn’t 3 from Mrs. Johnson or 3 from Mrs. Scott. This mean 3 total.) = lunch detention and phone call home
