Wall of Honor - Please read
Dear Families-
April is designated as the Month of the Military Child. At Sherwood, we will be recognizing our military families throughout the month with a variety of events and activities. One of these activities is the creation of a “Wall of Honor” at Sherwood. All students are encouraged to recognize a member of their family who has served in the military by filling out a “Hero” paper. These papers will be displayed throughout the building. In the box on the paper please provide a photograph of your hero. All papers will be given back to you at the end of the month.
Please return the papers by Monday, April 6th. We look forward to honoring all our past and current heroes at Sherwood School.

Pre Conference Form / Spring Conferences
Hard to believe spring conferences are in a month! You should have received an email from PCTFast to sign up. They are 15 minutes long and it is just parent / teacher. If you have not signed up, please click the link in the email and pick the time that works best for you. I know many might be traveling. If so, we can schedule a phone conference during our conference window.
Leprechaun Traps

- tape
- paper towel tubes
- wrapping paper
- anything that would attract a leprechaun
ELA
Phonics: Students worked with compound words. We brainstormed compound words and students searched for them in the text they read. We also practice rhyming words. Thinking of words with the same end chunk. Students worked with their differentiated word sort.
Handwriting: We are practicing taking "bare bones" sentences (really short and simple sentences) and adding adjectives and details.
