This is Isaac Huang, proud principal of Madrona with an update for the week of June 6.

Last Day of School

It’s hard to believe, but we are quickly approaching Thursday, June 9th, which is the last day of the 2021-2022 school year for elementary students. As in years past, there will be a minimum day schedule on the final day of the school year. Dismissal will be at 12:30.

Confidential Reporting Line

CVUSD has the legal obligation and ethical responsibility to provide a safe learning environment free of bullying, discrimination, intimidation and harassment. If you have directly experienced bullying, discrimination, intimidation and/or harassment, or witnessed such behavior, CVUSD takes this seriously and seeks to ensure you feel safe in reporting the incident(s).


We encourage all students and families to first report any incidents to the school site principal, or a trusted adult on the school campus. However, if there are circumstances where you feel uncomfortable reporting to school site staff, or you have reported to the school site and believe the response was insufficient to address discrimination, intimidation, bullying and harassment you are welcome to make a report, see link below.

PTA "Wish List" for PE and Recess Equipment

Below is the link the Amazon Wish List for PE & recess equipment. The list is set up so that items will ship directly to the school. The list will be maintained by the PTA and the items will be given to the school to be distributed appropriately. The donations are completely voluntary and all donations are tax deductible for the families that donate. This will not replace the PTA budgeted amount to purchase equipment, just to make donating easier for families who are interested in supporting.

Parental/Guardian option to submit child's COVID-19 vaccination record

Madrona will be accepting record of your child's COVID-19 vaccination. Please know that this is optional. This information will affect your child’s need to quarantine if your child does come in close contact with someone who is positive for COVID-19. Those who are interested can submit their record either in person at our main office or emailing evidence to our health clerk Angela Salsbury at AngelaSalsbury@conejousd.org
