Our High School Students Serve the Community

Spring Hill High School went out into the community March 21 and served at various locations throughout Longview. Numerous service projects were completed. Some of the projects completed are listed below. We are so proud of our high school students for going out and serving our community.




  • Students worked in the Habitat for Humanity store organizing & painting
  • Groups worked with Parks & Recreation to pick up trash alongside the trails
  • Refinished play equipment at Lear Park
  • Trash pick up along the roadway
  • Set up classrooms at the Boys & Girls Club
  • Worked at Longview Dream Center in the food pantry & with clothing organization
  • Worked at Hope's Closet in the food pantry & with clothing organization
  • Set up Longview World of Wonders for their next activity
  • Helped animals & worked at the Longview Animal Care & Adoption Center
  • Helped with the food pantry at Longview Community Ministries
  • Cleaned the Vietnam Veteran Wall at Teague Park

Congratulations Spring Hill One Act Play

Spring Hill High One Act Play students competed at District on March 10th at Bullard High School. Our students put on an outstanding performance of The Insanity of Mary Girard. Students placed as alternate. Winning All-Star Cast was Kerstin Andrews and Jacob Lewis. Taking Honorable Mention was Seth Pasel and Honor Crew was Emily Riddle. It was a great day of shows. There was a public performance on March 27th at 7 pm. Congratulations on a fabulous performance! ~Becky Smith

Spring Hill Senior Receives Citizenship Award

Hannah Gossage was the recipient of the Daughters of the American Revolution Good Citizen Award for Spring Hill High School and the overall area. Well Done Hannah!!!

UIL Debate Team Travels to Austin for State Competition

The High School UIL Competition was held at the University of Texas campus in Austin. Levi Feguson and Logan Smith placed 17th. Makenzie Mars and Jason Galeas went 2-2 in the prelims. While there the students were able to visit Mt. Bonnell, Graffiti park, and ate lots of good food.

Longview Regional Shadowing Day

A group of high school students went to Longview Regional for the day. They got to shadow different medical professionals throughout the day to learn more about the medical field.

Good Luck in Austin at the Texas Relays!!!


Dayson Adaway * Daryn Beck * Connor Duffey * Jager Mundheim * Sawyer Smith


The 4X100m relay team (Smith, Adaway, Beck, Duffey), the 4X200m relay team (Smith, Adaway, Beck, Mundheim) and Mundheim in the 110 Hurdles were all accepted to compete in this prestigious track meet March 28-31. It consists of the absolute best high school track and field athletes in the State, as well as a Collegiate Division. This is an outstanding accomplishment for these guys as well as our track program. When you see these guys be sure and congratulate them and wish them Good Luck. ~Coach Salter

Lady Panther Golf Wins Regional Preview & All-Saints Invitational

Lady Panther Golf wins the Regional Preview at Van Zandt Country Club with a 363. Zoe Mayfield was the second place medalist with a 79. They also won the All-Saints Invitational with a 330. Zoe Mayfield was 1st with 76, Grace Iltis 3rd with an 83, Tyler Newman placed 4th with an 85 and J’Dee Stovall 5th with an 86.

Junior High Tennis Dominates Van!

The SH Jr. High tennis team beat the Vandals 20-3 on Monday. This was a very successful start to the Jr. High season. Last week the JH team hosted a practice meet against Trinity and was very successful as well.
