Eastside Elementary
Superheroes in Training!
From Mrs. Allen
Does your child know how to use your smartphone and computer better than you? We have parents tell us this all the time. Knowledge is power! Come join us for a program by the Arkansas Attorney General’s Office and Cabot Public Schools Technology Department, BJ Brooks, about Internet Safety. The program will include information on cyber bullying, avoiding risky behaviors online, and how to protect your child against online predators.

Did You Know?
Did you know that your family has access to thousands of online books just because your child goes to Eastside???? TumbleBooks are animated, talking picture books which teach kids the joy of reading in a format they'll love. TumbleBooks are created by taking existing picture books, adding animation, sound, music and narration to produce an electronic picture book which you can read, or have read to you. TBL also includes National Geographic videos and games. Make sure you are taking advantage of this wonderful opportunity to encourage reading at home!
