Parent/Guardian Engagement Session
Next steps....how can we emerge stronger?
This engagement session will involve 3 discussions. We want to provide these to you prior to the session, so you can start to reflect and possibly bring some ideas to the session.
Participants will be broken up into smaller groups for discussion prior to submitting answers.
Discussion #1: Positives we can leverage
a) What might be some positives in the area of instruction, assessment and learning?
b) What might be some positive impacts technology has had on learning?
c) What might be some positive impacts on how schools have had to operate? Any structures or processes that have been put in place that we should keep?
Discussion #2: What do we miss being able to do?
a) In general, what are some things about "school life" that you miss or that your child(ren) miss?
b) Are there any instructional practices that teachers have not been able to use because of the pandemic that you feel are important to bring back as soon as possible? And why?
Discussion #3: What do we need to be mindful of next year?
a) As we think about the opportunity of blending the new skills students and teachers have developed with some of the practices, we haven't been able to utilize, what do we need to be mindful of if, and when, we return to a greater level of normalcy?
b) In general, what are some of the things we need to be mindful of for next year?
ZOOM link will be sent out to all families.
Lost and Found
Please go through each link to see if there is any of your child's missing clothing is currently in the Lost and Found Box.
