Where Learning Comes First
Principal's Post
Dear Head Community,
Our first Family Learning Night was a huge success! Thank you to all the families who came out to participate in the event. Our staff worked very hard to make the activities enjoyable for our students, and I saw lots of smiles all evening.
We are continuing to have a fun month here at Head. Next week is our United Way donation drive, Bus Driver Appreciation Week, Early Release/conferences, and the chorus performance at the Atlanta Gladiators game! Whew! And the following week is Red Ribbon Week! Lots of fun while we continue to learn at our highest level.
We hope to see each and every one of you next week during conferences. This is a critical time for all of us to strengthen our home/school partnership to ensure our children are getting everything they need to be successful. See you then!
PTA News You Can Use
United Way Pie In the Face
All next week, students will have the opportunity to drop money into the bucket of their color stable. Each color stable has a teacher who represents it. The color with the most donations by the end of the week will be watching that teacher get a pie in the face! So much fun and all for a good cause. Stay tuned to the morning announcements next week to see who the lucky teachers are!!!
Congratulations to our students who are moving on to the next level of judging for Reflections! We have some talented students here at RD Head, and would love to have even more submissions next year!
