Let's Help Out if We Can...
We know there is a lot going on in our world that we cannot control and many of us want to help out in some way. The Samaritan Inn in McKinney is a homeless shelter that supports McKinney and persons affected by homelessness. During this time, they are in need of our support. The PTO Board, with support from our administrative team, has worked to come up with a plan to help support this organization. Attached you will find a list of items they need.
There are three ways to help:
1) Item donation - use the porch drop off locations listed below and these items will be taken to their location
2) Amazon donation
3) Financial donation
1) The following porches are open for drop off:
6900 Norman Rockwell Lane
401 Rough Creek Drive
2) Amazon purchase:
Purchase items directly through Amazon that will be delivered to them if this is a better option for your family. The link for their wish list is below but also feel free to order items from the attached list and have them sent to them. Their address is: 1514 N. McDonald St. McKinney, TX 75072
https://www.amazon.com/…/2YQ29L29I…/ref=nav_wishlist_lists_1
3) Financial donation

Anything helps! Let's show them the kindness that our school has for the community around us! Thank you for your help and support.
Sincerely,
McClure PTO

Updates...
In an abundance of caution and concern for the health and well-being of our students and staff, the district is canceling all field trips for the remainder of the year. Even if we are able to return to school before the end of the semester, kids will have already missed too much face-to-face instruction for us to be able to justify field trips. McClure Elementary will begin working to issue (checks) refunds to parents that have paid for field trips that have yet to occur. Thank you for your patience during this process.
- The 10 Year Celebration - Cancelled
- Special Olympics - Cancelled
- Human Growth & Development (4th and 5th Grade) will not be shown as scheduled to students - More information to come from Nurse Jessica.
